Ignite your Power!

Mars has finally moved into Leo after spending an extended period in Cancer  - this happened due to a retrograde that started October 20, 2024. During this time, Mars slowed our progress, and many of us experienced challenges with energy levels, discipline, and moving forward effectively. What has been stalled for you during this time? Something was incubating and forming and it has now just been released, and is ready to act!

Now, with Mars in Leo, there's a surge of vitality that enables us to advance projects with greater focus, resolve, leadership, strength, courage, and a competitive spirit.

However, Mars is sharing Leo with Ketu, who also recently entered this space in the sky. Mars is a fiery warrior planet, and Ketu is the invisible south node of the Moon that causes eclipses. Ketu is also considered firey and behaves like Mars. So imagine two soldier like planets blazing in a fire sign associated with leadership, governance, and power.

This is more intense than normal because all planets will be clustered on one side of the lunar nodes—Rahu and Ketu between June 18-July 1 and July 15-23. This configuration is known as a Kal Sarpa Yoga, "the serpent of time." , so the strength of this Mars Ketu union is even more pronounced.

During this period, it’s crucial to stay calm—literally. Keep hydrated, visit water sources like lakes, streams, rivers, or the ocean, and find moments of peace amidst the heat. We must wield this energy responsibly as it can be either destructive or a superpower for positive change.

Notice how things may be heated at work or in groups/organizations with leadership. Instead of blaming, look within to see how you self govern and how you can stay centred despite the changes.

Leo, the sign of leadership, sovereignty, and taking the throne, encourages us to assume full responsibility for our lives, our energy, and our overall being. When we embrace this power consciously, we become formidable forces capable of achieving great things. However, when the pursuit of power is fuelled by a sense of scarcity and lack, it can breed greed, arrogance, egocentrism, and unreasonable demands, ultimately leading to the destruction of relationships and connections.

Mars embodies the warrior within us—the energy of courage, action, and combat. It prompts us to stand up for what we believe in, to fight for justice, and to take decisive steps. Yet, Mars's assertiveness can sometimes turn impatient, impulsive, or overly direct, especially if not guided with wisdom.

Ketu reminds us of our spiritual essence—our quest for moksha (liberation). It teaches us that we are timeless, immortal beings temporarily incarnated in physical bodies, here to evolve spiritually. Ignoring this aspect can cause disconnection from our emotions, others, and lead to aloofness, unconscious motives, or unresolved issues from past lives.

By aligning with higher consciousness, we can lead from the heart and fulfill our divine karma. When we do so, Mars finds its purpose—working toward the greater good of community, humanity, and the planet—guided by compassion and divine inspiration.

With Mars and Ketu together in Leo, the message is clear: lead from the heart, guided by divine wisdom, and act for the collective benefit of all beings.
